I am a fan of PT Anderson, and I was anticipating the film from the moment I heard it was in development--I saw it opening night and was far from disappointed. This movie convincingly put me in another time and place down to the last detail. It is definitely a character study rather than a plot driven action film, and worth seeing for the Oscar winning performance of Daniel Day-Lewis. But although I was rooting for him to win, I would have thrown my remote control through my TV screen if it hadn't won for cinematography (which it did, of course).
I'm looking forward to seeing it again next Sunday night. And I REALLY hope that I come home with a poster.

Same here, this film is in my top 3 for sure. Excellent review dylan, damn fine review. Excellent poster.
