Laser-etched circuit board pattern in the background. The other pieces look to be manipulated and glued on somehow.

He said he broke 5 laser discs in the process of 'learning' how to make it.

is there any way that the technique could be changed to "mixed media," to call it an "original mixed media" really devalues the word "original"

he said now that he figured out how to do it, might end up doing a few more.

Lorraine, you're right. That was probably a rude way to put it, but i've seen this before several times. I applaud emek for using recycled materials, but i'm not a fan of the imagery he choose to portray on it.
