I joined EB after an eBay purchase that I made was publicly criticized here. I wanted to respond to that criticism. 200-300 art purchases and 7000 posts later, I'm glad I joined. It has been a very positive experience.

Congratulations to all that have made EB what it is and kept it afloat!

My profile tells me that I have been along for 19 of those years which confirms that I am old now. I also a slow learner and have not come to terms with the fact that it is just paper and ink! Here's to 20 more years!! :pint:

I'm also on my 19th orbit with EB.
19 internet years is like 140 years in real life.
I credit a lot of the site's success to not having POSTER in it's name or URL. That and our alluring olive on olive color scheme.

I still think this place should have a mod update thread where they post comings/goings, but it is def way less relevant nowadays.
I'm semi-retired at this point. I occasionally show up at poster shows like a long forgotten TV character.
