Very happy I didn't donate. Clearly the EB board are total morons.

I don’t recall any board members approving the disbursement of ALL the site improvement funds to the developer all at one time, or before the work was finished. There was a contract in place. You guys can speculate all you want. I think it’s best to reserve judgement until the audit is finished. I understand people want answers. I do too. But I think it’s best to wait until the new board has had time to sort this all out.

Its been pretty clearly and simply stated though. We could ban the scammers but they'll just create a new account and start scamming again. If we don't ban them but allow call-out threads and let the community educate people about who to avoid then its got more chance of actually stopping some sales from happening. We've also always urged people to be sensible, not pay by friends and family, document their shipping and pay for the insurances, etc. Amongst the various plans for EB going forward I have some ideas for how we can change things up and hopefully restrict the scamming. I'll definitely canvas some opinions when we get to that point.tulip1637 wrote:for years we have asked why gifs are bans but scammers can stay
they were simply trying not to be hypocritical. admirable imo.
As for the gifs. There's no need to post penis related gifs on an open forum. People complain. (Lots of people. Really, you'd be surprised who complains.)
shoulda urged the board to do the same thing1nkling wrote:We've also always urged people to be sensible, not pay by friends and family, document their shipping and pay for the insurances, etc.tulip1637 wrote:for years we have asked why gifs are bans but scammers can stay
