I do agree Budich's work on this one and the Dune piece is above par compared with a few of his more recent releases like Tears In The Rain which was a little disappointing. I've read a number of posts where his critics appear to be saying that he is copying Stout which I think is off-base and whether you like one above the other is really a matter of personal taste. I actually like Budich's thrifting and polishing in his compositions compared with Stout's more cluttered and rough-hewn approach. I also prefer the18x24 format versus 24x36. Yep, I'm pretty bored...

I think in any art form it's very difficult to be entirely original; however, if you are going to take liberty with another artist's particular style there should be new elements introduced which elevate the overall spectrum of a particular style. Wow...now I must be drunk!!!

Not a Twin Peaks fan, but this is a nice looking print. I like that it was printed on yellow paper.
