Ditto. The composition is really balanced without being jam-packed full of characters.

Rumored to be today, but no word yet from Ken/SpokeArt.
Hoping it's today so I can combine shipping with the Budich True Detective timed release. 8)

Sure - PNF = "Page Not Found 404" = Spoke-Art In Dreams drop not up yet. Nothing bad if that's what you were after. I don't usually post. I'm just bored waiting for this drop.

I do agree Budich's work on this one and the Dune piece is above par compared with a few of his more recent releases like Tears In The Rain which was a little disappointing. I've read a number of posts where his critics appear to be saying that he is copying Stout which I think is off-base and whether you like one above the other is really a matter of personal taste. I actually like Budich's thrifting and polishing in his compositions compared with Stout's more cluttered and rough-hewn approach. I also prefer the18x24 format versus 24x36. Yep, I'm pretty bored... :ziggi:

I think the line-work in the shading of the faces borrows more from Martin Ansin in this case, but I like the print regardless. Looks like I'm pretty bored, too.

I think in any art form it's very difficult to be entirely original; however, if you are going to take liberty with another artist's particular style there should be new elements introduced which elevate the overall spectrum of a particular style. Wow...now I must be drunk!!! :pint: :pint: :pint:

Oh, and I agree with your Ansin comment - this one kind of looks like it's been out for an evening with his Planet of the Apes piece.

Not a Twin Peaks fan, but this is a nice looking print. I like that it was printed on yellow paper.
