I stand corrected. For the sake of providing useful information regarding this, I don't know if anyone realizes that this is a portrait of a young, newly-crowned Queen Victoria - prior to any of the tragedy that was to befall her later in life. Obviously she was a central subject that Rob re-visited throughout the '07 tour, depicting her in various stages of her life(see the Milan , St John's , and Nashville Posters). She and Mark Twain were the two figures who were surrounded by tragedy throughout their lives that Rob chose to focus on throughout the tour.

A fellow Canadian ",eh?" No, actually I really do like the print. And the info I gave , above, comes directly from conversation with Rob. This and the Inglewood canceled gig print are the best of the tour in my opinion...

I've always wanted to see this print in person and now it's in my collection. Words and pictures can't describe the feelings this print evokes when you see it for the first time. The reds are so deep and dark, the blacks so perfectly smudged and spattered. Queen Victoria's face in this (a self-portrait) contains such melancholy mystery it's very difficult to look away.
