At this point, if any of us miss a drop and are mad, just read Mondo's Facebook and it will cheer us up. I still love the classic,

"I logged on to mondo after I got the tweet, and by the time I created an account, the print was gone, even though I had it in my cart."

I can't believe Mondo won't hold a poster in your cart while you stop in the middle of the drop to actually create your account. What's the world coming to?

I think everyone's entitled to be confused by the Mondo system first time round. I couldn't understand why the damn poster wasn't available after I'd gone through the checkout on my first attempt.

Yeah... I mean can you imagine there are people out there who don't know how to properly prep themselves for a big drop? What a bunch of drymounting noobs!

That's what I'm saying.

But it's really kind of sad when you think about people who have never done it... get SUPER psyched over a poster for their favorite film... and then just get smoked. I'm guessing tons of new people just "rage quit" the game before ever really getting started.

aside from all the money talk, the thrill of the chase is a drug. fact. and the sweet isn't as sweet without the bitter.
if i hadn't been smoked on MANY sought after releases, i wouldn't appreciate the scores as much.

lol, I thought I would have a chance to pick up an Akira print for under $500 on ebay. They're going for 700+ as the auctions come to a close.

Doesn't seem to be a huge difference in prices between variant/non-variant either which is interesting. Having seen both, the variant is much nicer.

Man, if I had a The Thing print, I would totally trade that for an Akira variant.
