Just for you db23.....look what the postman just brought me. Loads of lovely gold hand finishing. Needless to say, I am absolutely over the moon with this - this print is stunning and it's going nowhere. Anyone that got one of these or the Normal or AP edition will be VERY happy!
Eelus Gold Icarus for sale....PM me if interested.
Nice photos. Hoping the start reaching the states soon!
Random note: I was talking to my girlfriend on the phone about how I want to frame NEISBW next. She's said "that's the same guy who did the print with the wings, right? I can't wait to see that one!"
that makes two of us!

From Eelus' twitter:
To all Icarus recipients. PLEASE be careful when taking the print from the tube, the paper is lovely but very soft. Watch those edges!

same with the paper for firestarter. still my prized joy, that.clem99 wrote:the NEIS... paper is thick as, i have no idea why all prints aren't silked on higher gsm, only makes sense
might get upstaged when some tubes start coming in the mail...
i have been spending some time trying to figure out how i want to frame this pup when it gets here.
did any of you see that vandal airways that was framed up and had the colo(u)rs at the bottom of the frame handfinished? i thought it was quite nice, do you think subtle yellow and black from where his wings are coming undone and falling would look tacky?
In my minds eye i dont think i would like that, this is a big print and you dont really wont to be taking away from the image in anyway also if you dont match colour exactly it would look a bit off, just my 2cents. Are you going to frame it your self???whl10 wrote:same with the paper for firestarter. still my prized joy, that.clem99 wrote:the NEIS... paper is thick as, i have no idea why all prints aren't silked on higher gsm, only makes sense
