According to the notes, "the first and second printings are originals", which is correct. However, in the price history it appears as though the "2nd" printing corresponds to "RP-3" instead of "OP-2", and the "1st" printing covers both "OP-1" and "OP-2." It seems as though the price history printing designations should be changed to "OP-1", "OP-2", "RP-3", etc.

I think you are correct. Unfortunately, many people have entered auctions as OP-2, when it should be RP-3. They see 2nd print listed on E-Bay and automatically assume that it corresponds to the Expressobeans 2nd print. If you don't know the series and the way they are currently entered on Expressobeans, it is best to look each poster up before entering the auction.

I plan to tackle the FD series sooner or later. When I do, I will try to get as much of this cleaned-up as possible.

That works for some of the FD posters, such as this one and FD-27. In those cases, there doesn't seem to be a significant price difference between OP-1 and OP-2. In fact, some or all of the websites that offer FD-29s for sale don't even allow you to select one or the other. However, for a poster like FD-17 there's a big price difference between an OP-1 and an OP-2, and designating them both as being a "1st" doesn't really work.

This image is from one of Mucha's greatest and most famous posters--one of two (the other is much larger) he did for Job cigarettes

I just stumbled upon a short stack of the FD-029 RP-7. They are in varying condition, but most are really solid. Sure it's RP 7, but these were printed in 1986, on the original presses, and authorized by Mouse and Kelley. Both artist signatures are perfect. Colors are amazing. Run was 350.

My understanding is the old presses were at Jack Gallery in Chicago, when he(the owner) died, these folks bought much of the inventory and the presses. I have zero ties to the seller, I literally stumbled into gallery and saw this it in back room. A few minutes of haggling and it was mine. I'd be happy to point anyone in the right direction if they want one. The might have some FD-21 RP 5(1986) "Earthquake's" too.

Poster is huge in person and I'm looking forward to framing it up.

Does anyone have Eric Kings book to look this up? Or any idea which edition this is?
Thanks for any help.
