you can still buy the bug snub nose prints on brooklynite. really nice. i wanted him to do me a girl on dollar bill but it would have been 100 pounds for a commission. (he recently did a small run for half that price.) some nice work but i find his stuff is overpriced compared with some other artists that i consider to be on the same level as him.

Oh wow I just went to take a look! I do like those...might have to pick one up! Thanks for pointing me in that direction!

Yeah, it is pricey, but I'm pretty new to art that differs from screen prints and have no clue as to the standard with stencils, aluminum, and framing included. Do you have recommendations of any other comparable artists you enjoy? I'm always interested in finding new stuff and am really fascinated with the use of new materials and experimentation with it! :)

I like this! But then I'm having trouble understanding how is this a hand cut stencil, looks more like a halftone.

 I have no idea what a halftone is, but I saw some pictures of the original stencil on his facebook:

I don't know if that helps or not!

I like that the caption under that print said, "this was a nightmare to cut!"

Also dig the original:

'Beaten City' was a snip at £250. Run of 10, aluminium and framed. Awesome work. Im surprised that this wasnt alot higher in price.

Some of his other pieces are expensive.

(theres a Penny 'dollar' on ebay  )

well ok i guess that one is on metal. but something like a miss bugs on metal would cost alot more but then it would have multiple stencils, hand finishing etc.. IMO he's in the same sort of league as grafter, SPQR, fake, eelus. i like the cops n robins he did for POW. but that was like 140 quid and i had to say that was too rich for me.

I would've bought Cops and Robins for 140 quid, its way more expensive now, I love that print... I drool over the APs constantly but cannot afford them.

Yeh, they are nice. Although, prefer Pennys 'Royal Tealeaf', think that is superb.
