Midwestern Heart 10 Horkey Release Discussion 09/12/10
I must not be on the list, because this is the first I've heard of this. Anyone know when and where this is dropping, and how many will be released?
Edit: Found this on gigposters:

And, from another thread here.

Guys I know have talked to Aaron directly, but I have not, so I have all this second-hand. So I think it's all good info but I might be slightly off. Note that I italicized and bolded that I haven't talked to him directly.
The opening is Sunday, 9/12. It's not a show of new art, or a collection of new paintings, but more of a career retrospective -- I'm told there will be lots of prints on the wall, some-to-lots of original inks for prints, and maybe (but probably not) some paintings.
It is possible this is his last show ever, as is rumored, I can't remember if he said that was for certain. But, it's not being treated as a big blowout party type of show, he's described it as a small get-together for family and friends: people he likes and cares about can come, hang out, see his work, etc. It's still a public event, of course, but it's not going to be the Horkey extravaganza we'd all been fantasizing about.
Still, I'm probably going.

My gf's family lives near Rochester. I gotta start begging them to do me a favor...

This was not communicated by an email list. Aaron sent a picture and details to Mitch and it is shown on OMG. The poster will only be available @ Midwestern Heart show in Windom on Sep. 12th. Future online sale possible if there are leftovers.mtarail wrote:I must not be on the list, because this is the first I've heard of this. Also, I'll probably require to be paypal'd prior to buying to solidify everyone's spot. If something occurs, e.g. i'm only allowed to buy two, i'll just refund said person's money.
Thanks Buddy!! I owe you one

I'd like to try and hook up an EBer or two, but I wonder if they'll allow more than one per person. I might stop back by the "merch booth" at the end of the day on the 12th just to check.
Please don't PM me. I'll post if I have any extras. I owe a couple people on here favors so the chances of me having any are not good even if they allow more than one per.

Yeah, if someone makes it to the show and can pick up a bonus print, ive got a crispy 20 bucks for you or well more a 20 dollar extra paypal payment haha.
But the print looks awesome. After getting my first suite of prints from the letterpress I cant wait for the next one to come out, simply amazing work.

I assume these will all sell out on the 12th? If there are leftovers will they be sold at the venue as this "show" runs through November or do we know if they will then be sold online after the 12th? I'm only 160 miles away but had to have something scheduled for that day of course... BOO!
