ahh but Emek's vision is well established already. He is the Thinking Man's Artist. That his thought processes are general superior and brilliantly thought out is not the question with Emek any longer. The WHOLE picture must be considered. The bands involved, the color scheme, the aesthetic appeal...all important faction...even his past history with Pearl Jam when viewing this latest workturnJBup wrote:You do.Tadrules wrote: Who cares about cow pie run off?
Tad you do not rule...

That poster will be hanging on everyone's wall in KC for years to come when the fish are gone.
The show was pretty dang good... but I'm always happy hearing Porch, Present Tense, and anything Neil Young.
Dig Band Of Horses... they stepped up.
The printing is not the stuff we are used to getting from Portland, but the piece comes with a message or meaning which is exactly what we expect...
He does his homework, I like getting posters with more than just a picture.
His work may not blow you away everytime but his vision should.
This poster is not a book...it's, in affect, a painting and should be reacted to as such...yes the message should be considered too... imho is drab..i wont list comparison from his body of work. Nor should you. It must stand on it own.
It falls short for a number of reasons and most of you realize this, though some seem afraid to express this.
We analyze the new works here on this page to express how we feel, not how we want to be heard but fellow EB'ers or by Emek. Be honest and tell us what you think in the big picture (we get the "message" of the poster...let's also talk about how it appears).
