i received an obey tube from ups once that was missing an end cap, that end was completely crushed, and they put a couple pieces of clear tape on the end of the tube to 'fix' it. the tape didnt even close the opening and they left it on my porch in the rain. when i got home there was an inch of water in the tube. cant remember the print...it was last year.

The funny thing was I wasn't home yesterday so they left me a slip that i had to sign for the package. Today the UPS driver taps on the door once; leaves the triangler mailer then sprints back to the truck, no signature needed today for some reason. I knew something was wrong when I saw the triangler mailer, lucky he had to turn the truck around or else he would of got away.

This is true- I know ALL too well. Same applies to Federal Express - they will deliver it in 100 pieces, they don't have the right to refuse delivery/return to sender unless the shipping address can't be determined.

"the show must go on" as one Fed X agent told me....................... :hanging:

I have only heard of one damaged Compassion (well, at least only one comes to mind). I think that the Obey method of rolling prints saves a lot of them. I know if my 'Liberty' had been rolled the same way it would have most likely survived UPS and their manhandling ways.
We'll kill the fatted calf tonight, so stick around

i only said that because when i worked for the telephone company and fudge was slow, some of the old timers, would " make work " until things picked backup.... i can see ups foreman and or union guys telling each other to do some fffucked up fudge to create new charges and or to make ups go deeper into a hole....

whatever, im a paranoid conspiracy believer sometimes.... 8)

I would call it typical more than a rash

Fairey has set the bar except for using Ulines and UPS

If he truly supports the US he would endorse the United States Postal Service..

Seriously. I'm real curious of the $500 and $460 auctions...any chance these are people pushing the market price up and not actually selling the prints? Excuse my n00biness, please. :D
