Incarnation 09 Ryden Release Discussion 04/01/10
Porterhouse Fine Art Editions will be offering a new limited edition lithographic poster on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 8:00 am PDT. "Incarnation" is one of the new paintings from Mark Ryden's "The Gay Nineties Show," which opens Thursday, April 29, 2010, at Paul Kasmin Gallery in New York, NY.
The poster is printed on heavyweight paper, signed and numbered, and is embossed with the Porterhouse seal in the lower right-hand corner. This poster comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Poster Size - 37" x 26"
Price - $500

Nope.. the price and "gay 90's" decided for me. Really like the image though.

This seems more like a "classic" ryden type image than his last couple releases so I expect it will sell fast, but for some reason it just doesn't appeal to me. And yeah the text makes it a definite no for me.

I'm Ok with the Gay 90's, but the image doesn't bowl me over. it is classic Ryden, but I like the the more mysterious iconography in some of his other works.

Yeah, the text does it for me...I live right down the street from a gay bar called "the Gay 90s" and I'm not looking to have that on my wall
