I think Malleus enjoys experimenting with extremes and even distortions of perspective. cf Linkin' Park, even Verdena. I would agree that the chains include a distortion of perspective, but I think that is surely intentionalColdSoreSuperstar wrote:woah.

This is my favorite Malleus in quite a while. I especially like the colors they used. This is the kind of detail and clean lines I was hoping for in the last Roadburn series after seeing their original sketches. Would it be wrong to hang this upside down? It looks good that way too.

I like the perspective of the chains in the foreground. It reminds me of a photo taken with a wide angle lens, almost like a 20mm lens on a 35mm camera shot from up close.
