You saw that live? Taz, hard cash and the sink were about as tough as they came. the big bad bruins.

It was before my time, but the sink challenged a whole bench one time, you probably know what I'm talking bout. And the jonathan fight against piere bouchard is the greatest I've ever seen, besides some of pj stock's

Those were the days...hockey was hockey.

It was the Minnesota North Stars and not one of them moved an inch off the bench. Wensink got hit a lot but he epitomized old school hockey - those guys genuinely did not like each other and these were real fights - check out the hair pulling and choke holds that use to go down. Nowadays, they kind of go through the motions and hope the ref breaks it up. Here's some of his best stuff including an elbow to start the video that should go into the KO hall of fame:



If you haven't seen this - Stan Jonathen was about 5"5" on skates fighting Pierre Bouchard. Watch closely when they hit the ground and you can see the blood spurting from his forehead.

Yes he was - a drymounting pussy that is . Watch him jump Jay Miller in this video. Miller already tooled Craig Berube early in the game, right after that Brown and him went for the first time. The later in the game Brown pulls this punk move. Miller was a bad man being able to punch with both hands - introduced a new type of fighter in the NHL.

about time someone suggested MJ....

i suggested the bulls repeat threepeat a few pages back...'the shot' against cleveland was huge, but i prefer this one...this is when his career ended in my book. the shot of pippen holding him up after that shot in utah is pretty inspiring. dude could barely stand on his own and he stole the ball from malone and drove the length of the court and drained the game winner. just seeing the pics again gives me goosebumps.
