Get off my plane!
Just as Harrison Ford finished up his terrorism speech at the beginning somebody in the theater yelled, "I voted for that guy!"
Ford is a terrible actor unless he's got a whip or a good blaster at his side.
just a foil for me today, thanks

Doesn't open in Oz until the end of the month - Aussie director (See "The Proposition") Nick Cave & Warren Ellis music. There's an interesting online journal from the director floating around somewhere online - worth the read

For horror this year, Let The Right One In. Fantastic. Best vampire movie ever.
Deserves got nothing to do with it.

You gotta be kidding me!
Let The Right One In is a quality film - I thought the kids did a great job in the lead rolls, it was a nice angle and something out of the ordinary as a result and it was well shot, on what I presume was a shoe-string budget. Anything described as the poor man's Twilight is condemned as shyte and this film is not deserving of such a comment.
Twilight is proper Hollywood, teeny-bopper garbage and lacks a remotely interesting or original plot imo. "Interview with a vampire" or "Dusk til dawn" both kick Twilight's ass imo. In fact, pretty much every vampire movie ever made kicks Twilight's ass imo. However, I would highly recomend it to 14 year olds.
