There is no art submitted by you in the queue at this time. Please resubmit if it's not already in the database. Thanks.forwardselection wrote:After I post an new addition to the poster database it seems to takes weeks.. month? to show up, and now it seems never. What's up?

There are almost 150 unique pieces waiting for approval. Please be patient. Thanks.

Yeah, I think one of the EB team members added The Flaming Lips one on the same day I submitted it.aahnutz wrote:There is no art submitted by you in the queue at this time. May take a while, so just wait it out.
correct. the art approvals has been backlogged lately, theres a TON of submissions to be approved, most of which have to be edited to be correctly formatted first. we appreciate your patience!bathroommonkey wrote:you'll get an email when it's approved.

Very true, very true. Honestly, outside of two members of the staff (myself and bigdz who runs the EB Store) no one else is privy to what donations are made or in what amount. The only viewable knowledge is that you may or may not have a contributor pin.
Ryefish is dead on - we've been talking about the how and why and difficulties of many submissions made to the site. If they have oversize images or those that need rotating, cropping, etc. If information is vastly incorrect or incomplete. If it's submitted with no bands, artist, title, etc. These things will make a volunteer taking some of their time on approvals pass over a submission in favor of those which are more detailed, have a good image, and are generally just needing to have their details confirmed and checked to make sure that it's not already in the database. The more work that has to be done... the more time it will likely sit in the list.
