for a collecting community, i'd like to recommend the toy collector by james gunn. this is the same james gunn that wrote the comedy-horror film slither, which was a blast. it's hilarious, definitely check it out.

well I went to Barnes & Nobles and found this publication of books called introducing books... introducingbooks.com they are these little small comic book type reference books on a lot of different topics.. check it out.. I got the Nietzsche one, but I think I'm going to pick up more.. they are good bathroom reads, and have some nice drawings to look at too..

currently Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay (from Showtime's Dexter). fun read but since i know how it's gonna end it's not as good i suppose.

really enjoyed Magical Mystery Tours: My Life with the Beatles by Tony Bramwel. damn what a life.

went back and finished reading stephen king's The Stand, unabridged. thought it was very apropos with swine flu and all. great story telling. i can see why so many love it. i won't bother watching the miniseries though. i was warned.
