Guesses on the price point? I'll bet it's going to be more than the typical $60. I'm thinking $80.
hope not.

i'd guess way higher than that. even if they try to keep prices down I can't seeing it go under $100.danielalanscott wrote:Guesses on the price point? I'll bet it's going to be more than the typical $60. I'm thinking $80.

I hope it doesn't get too much over $100... that may be a deal breaker for me. There are a lot of cool pieces/small orginals available for $100. Still, this is a great piece.

I don't think stating an opinion that it is probably not going to go for under $100 is "hype". . .
I think that is just being realistic and providing a well educated guess considering the last two giclee prints of Aaron's work released by BRLSQ had price tags over that and neither of them included letterpressed embellishments. . . Now granted, I am fairly certain that years after the fact one those prints (the "Self Portrait") is still available on BRLSQ's website. . . But without pricing info having been released I think he was just trying to create a realistic expectation.

oh,
in that case i hope it doesn't go for less than 500. That way only the true fans get one, and we won't have to worry about poor people getting one before we do, that would be embarrassing.

I'd comment one way or the other but then these things degenerate into soem sort of 'flame war" and "drymount the noob" party... whatever. I was just speculating on the price, hoping it was reasonable, and tryign to make a comment other than "drymount me! AOTY! WTF! Horkey Does It Again!"
Guess I should have stuck with that.

you will come to understand that there are myriad ways to comment without being a tool bag or ass spackler.
