I have a friend who wants to sell me this print for a $1000 dollars,it's 3/100. is this a reasonable price?

only if it's a friend that isn't accustomed to doing you favors. you can probably get it on ebay for cheaper from somebody that has no connection to you whatsoever.

I agree. Nice piece, horrible price. If he doesn't know the average you can inform him to research the sales history on here (if he isn't already a member).

Thanks everyone. He is a good friend, I think he just got taken to the cleaner when he bought it for $950 some time ago.

this is in fact one of the reasons EB started in the first place.
The price guide was established to inform both buyers & sellers so that someone didn't get taken (either party).

obviously, we don't have a record of every single transaction, but for the most part we try and give a snapshot of what a given artifact "is worth" on the secondary market.
