surprised nobody posted this yet. anyone have any scoop on price (and is the only difference b/w a normal 1st and an "AE" is that it's doodled and embossed OR is there something else different)?
Hope you are having a nice Mother's Day Weekend
I've been busy working on some new stuff, and putting more touches on my book.
Maybe I will get it out by the end of the year, its a long slow process.
Anyways, spring is here and its time to come out of hibernation...
This year was the third year in a row that I was chosen to design the official silkscreen poster for the Coachella Festival.
For those who do not know, the Coachella festival is one of the largest and most successful music festivals in the country.
It lasts over 3 days with over 100 bands. Some of the performers this year were: Paul McCartney, Thievery Corporation, Leonard Cohen, The Killers, X, Morrissey, Band of Horses, M.I.A, Rollins, and more...
We have a very limited Artist Edition of the poster called "Twilight".
22 x 30.5
The art depicts a magnificent tree growing out of the ruins of civilization, against the twilight setting of Coachella.
it is a 10 color silkscreen, and only our copies are signed, numbered, embossed and doodled.
To see the poster click this link: http://emek.net/coachella_09_twilight.jpg
The poster goes on sale Tuesday May 12th, at 12:00 noon pacific time.
To PURCHASE:
Go to http://www.emek.net at 12:00 noon pacific time on Tuesday May 12th.
Click on the STORE/INFO button at the bottom of the home page
The store will open at exactly 12:00 noon. Be aware that the system might close the store if too many
orders are processed at once, but if posters are still available, then the store will reopen a few minutes later.
If the poster does sell out completely, the store will display: STORE IS NOW CLOSED
*Remember, only one poster per person, and please make sure your
shipping address in paypal is correct before making a purchase.
also, be sure to complete the sale in order to see a confirmation that the purchase went through.
Thank you,
Emek
