I think people want to have it both ways when it comes to collecting prints. They complain so much about how high the prices are for specific prints they want, yet sell them for significantly more once the market dries up. I wonder if it upsets them deep inside when they slap on their inflated price tag?
Let us know. Did you feel that when you sold this piece ?
Yup, I really like it and wanted to keep it...until I got my statements in the mail. Could have held onto it and sold it for more but took an offer, and that money is being used to pay some credit card bills. How about you with your $500 - $1,000 price tags on various prints? Feel guilty asking for that when you paid significantly less?

drymounting hell you bunch of whiney gits, you all sound like total gobshites. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, and that applies to the vast majority on this board. Anyway...

1- a person who talks a lot, but nothing with any value - as in shite coming out of their gob.
2- a word of Irish origin, meaning a person who blabbers on about incredibly senseless things.
3- Liam Gallagher
I kinda like definition #3.

EXACTLY!!!! Look at the Marsians print on wood... this will drop FAR BELOW THAT, and I want that Marsians on wood FAR MORE THAN THIS!!! What EMEK fan wouldn't? Anyone?
Thievery Corp is a poster for an actual show while the Marsians is nothing more than a recycled image (I guess you guys call them art prints of some sort). In the future, perhaps collectors will care about the Marsians piece (even though it is recycled, it is nice), but my feeling is that they would much rather have the show poster (Sasquatch). I think the art print/recycled image stuff will go the way of the 60's & 70's promo posters (which NOBODY seems to care about any longer...if you happen to be someone that does, there's a lady in Fresno with 250,000 of them...be happy to hook you up). Just my opinion. I would be happy to offer $200 for any/all of the Thievery pieces that might be out there and for sale (in top shape). If you are crazy/desparate enough to sell at that price, please shoot me a PM.

Finally saw them live last night, a can't miss. There were more joints being passed than a prosthetic factory. I've enjoyed their last 2 albums but this just opened it all up again....Disco rock world psychedelic electronic house party
