Would look great in my office but, I really have to stop spending!
I wonder if Tim's going to give credit to the original photographer..

Is Doyle a ripoff of Tyler Stout or is the other way around. obviously not with this piece but his other stuff looks just like Stout.

Yeah, that was my thought the first time I saw his "Troll 2" poster. Tyler recently posted this on his site: "i'm aware of the those deniro screenprints, and no, i didn't do em. sorry for the confusion." Next thing we know Mitch is handling posters for the Alamo. Of course, I have no idea whether there's any correlation. I just know that I might be slightly peeved if I were Tyler.kingofprussia wrote:Is Doyle a ripoff of Tyler Stout or is the other way around. obviously not with this piece but his other stuff looks just like Stout.
As for this poster, I like it...don't get me wrong...one of my favorite parodies of this style, but the text bothers me a little. Feels like it should be justified (below). The again it wouldn't read quite right and some of the joke is lost. It'd be "Change into a truck" instead of "Change...into a truck."
I doubt he's peeved considering he did a print for the guy's site.dwlfennell wrote:Yeah, that was my thought the first time I saw his "Troll 2" poster. I just got a sense that something was going on due to a brief product description change on Tyler's site and on the Nakatomi blog the weekend before last. All I'm saying it that if someone I'd worked with quite a bit started banking off my style, I might not appreciate it too much.bannister wrote:I doubt he's peeved considering he did a print for the guy's site.
