12:10?

The question was only good for 1 hour. If it started at 10:05am it was only good till 11:05am.
That is a rough estimate on when it started.
I sent mine at 10:15:42 and afterwards I checked EB and saw that people had posted the answer publicly in the forums before I had sent my email, I figured I was SOL cause the answer was out in the open for the easy taking. Guess not!
edit: 10:10:42 was my time oops

Just checked my email... i got one!!! Pretty sure mine went in about 10.12 ...but how accurate are email times between different ISPs and time zones. Is it true the chosen ones get the variants??

Damn, thought for sure I was on the quick draw.
Oh well, there will certainly be more opportunities to play this game.

I wonder how many of the same people get his prints every single sale? a lot is my guess..........
Why he doesnt implement a sales program that disqualifies you if you purchased his last print- I have no idea.
It would increase his scope of his patrons and force the flippers to make choices or use more complicated methods of scoring (which would only decrease the flipping - to some extent)
Really like to see him do this- at least for a couple sales

very true....... but he seems to care to some extent, changes methods of sales, telling folks peoples orders will be cancelled and stay tuned ect.
TOTALLY understand, dreams are not reality and nobody tells Emek how to run his business but its just makes sense to me.
Emek is THE man
I am on dial-up (let the laughter begin) so I don't expect to get anything, and never do. But I only try for the prints that I actually like so this plan wouldn't impact me at all.

jojobadass wrote:people still flip emeks?
I think the answer to that question lies in how people keep it for more than 30 days or so-
Less than half IMO................. so Im not sure if that answers it for you.
Does for me, still too many and if the main inspiration for these price hikes is flipping, then how about thinking about the people who actually kept his work and can't afford $100 a copy now.
