They should administer this test instead of the SAT.

I think it was MBW that started using them on a regular basis... or at least that is how I got mine.

After going for a long walk in the woods to consult my spirit guides I came home to find all this help - thank so much!!! :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

I found the seam a quarter of the way down and used my trusty x-acto knife to cut the plastic and the cap came right off. Lol, I am truly a newb :D

I know this thread is 11 years old, but literally was the first result on Google for "open poster tube metal cap" and just saved me a lot of frustration. Hard to believe all the years I've been buying art and I just now encountered this monstrosity. I thought the tape was covering damage...not a seam.

I used to put the shipping label over the seam.

I dislike it when the tube ends are stapled.

This and lady laz taping both ends of the craft roll to the inside of the tube are two of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to unpacking a tube.

Prints rolled in bags is my current biggest peeve. Had one artist ship a print with the poster wrapped tightly in bubble wrap (which was then taped) instead of kraft paper. Never seen dat fudge before. Was a "fun" one to unwrap. I can't stand the staple fudge either.

Heavy duty staples to hold caps in place. No tape needed. You just need pliers to take them out.

Seriously? Never thought is was a thing. People don’t have pliers, screwdrivers, or other suitable tools at home?
