See IMO fudge like top shots and street fighter, garbage pail kids and the rest belong in an NFT thread. That's not art, it's just a digital commodities. BNG is coming with something much different.
Haha nah it’s nice seeing an active thread in here. All the same idea

^ But what if you bought $10,000 worth?

Your fomo fomo’ed me into buying two 60 packs. I opened one and the other one is still sealed. The open one is worth more than the closed one at the moment. It doesn’t make sense opening smaller packs at this time.

If you were picking up all the Ryu build cards for a buck or two in the beginning, you would be selling them for about $20 a pop now. The pack I opened had only 3 of those.

The wax tokens gained over 11%, so if you sold 24 hours ago, the gain would cover your commissions.

It’s like a guy can’t loose. Luls.
you loose by gambling for a collector editions card by joining cards and instead getting a base-weld. build / packs / collectors editions / 1-10 cards will hold the highest value... rest will be mostly meh and devalued in comparison. action cards for some may hold some value.

the real question will be they smart enough to allow using build series 1 cards to join with build series 2 cards or something similar to jack the the value in series 1 when series 2 comes out.
Exactly my thinking as well.

They probably will. I don’t see any reason to do otherwise.

It does seem like the platform is playing a big part in how popular the art is. I've seen some amazing NFTs that barely get a look in.

Its exactly whats happening. Also, when you have a pool of amazing art, its a little overwhelming and I imagine ppl end up not buying anything in the end

Any idea what the general thoughts are from artists we usually see on the likes of BNG? I can imagine it won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I did see Chris Skinner out there in the wild doing some.

Alex Pardee is out there too in NFT world!!

Looking forward to the Brainwash NFT. :rolling:

We all know Banksy wont ever have one. Internet might break.

What about Kaws?

Anyone seeing any interest building on twitter, FB or discord from the artists we follow?

I would like to be the first in the know for a James Jean. His colors and movement would be a beautiful piece.

One of the first artists I want to work with actually is Chris. Chris is an incredible visual artist that works so well for this medium. Sort of gets lost in the mix.

I think most artists are onboard. Especially once its explained to them. Again, once something is out there and we haven't failed miserably, Ill go into my thoughts a little more. Especially with licensing.

I will say though and its no surprise, that it is sort of weird seeing a market really built on wow we sold $$$ of art and not actually really about the art

Alex's newsletter introducing all of it was probably the best way to explain it all to someone. I actually use it when someone isn't understanding.

Its nice seeing artists/musicians making a whole years worth of income (especially shitty 2020) off of 1 drop.

Plus the secondary income is getting to be ridiculous and beginning to outweigh the drops less than a month later.

Tried going for two sfhirs today and failed on both. Their site is a failure for a lottery drop.

If you guys like melts head over to the Nifty Gateway discord group.

Its like a bunch of kids over there that have never bought anything limited and using their moms CC for the first time.

Tonight was a fudge show but I made it thru. Didn't pull any lotteries but got a couple opens.
