Its flat packed in a 2 inch thick box with extra filler inside to prevent it from moving too much. Should be fine short of a complete mangling of the box.

My tracking showed signature confirmation as well, but I stumbled on the box in my building's lobby yesterday afternoon... just glad I got to it before it got stolen. yeah, mine doesn't even have a scan from USPS that they picked it up but i'm a panic freak when it comes to stuff like these. should all work out in the end.
