They perhaps should of done this through a sturdier platform or dealer, like Heritage.

God damn these eMovie Poster guys are some verbose mother drymounters. Between the site info pages and the emails it seems like they are incapable of communicating anything without droning on for 17 drymounting paragraphs

Who is volunteering to put all these sales into the database?

I dont think bids were higher because of the site. They were higher due to the publicity / cause the money was being raised for.

Hopefully most of them aren’t bought by EB members. The prices are going to fffffffuck up the averages.

It's been a while but I used to buy a lot of vintage one sheets from emovie. The benefit was you KNEW you were getting an authenticated piece, not a knockoff a la ebay. One example off the top of my head is the Bruce Wolfe Temple of Doom one sheet. Tons of fakes on ebay and virtually impossible to know what's what. The supersize photos on emovie for each poster are OF THE ACTUAL POSTER YOU ARE BIDDING ON and you can zoom in and see every little nook and cranny and flaw etc. No drymounting around and the prices for one sheets weren't nearly as inflated as we're seeing here.

Screenprinted Mondos on emovie? Hard pass forever.

Agreed, can't wait to see how much they raise in total. And kind of good on emovie, looks like the site is running okay today.

Why would you pay more for one print when you can pay much less for all three? Am I missing anything?

Both I think. Emovieposter have customers that don’t shop on eBay. They are fine to pay more because they trust them and know they will get an expected level of service. I think the ‘event’ status of this auction is probably the biggest factor, but Tim was smart picking Emovieposter IMO.
