What was the weight, most sturdy tubes are going to be over the weight limit for first class.

2lb 4oz. Wasn't an option under 2lbs either. Don't remember weight ever coming close to the limits when I last used first class int.

Henry: No, but I seem to feel better when they're not around.

4lbs is the weight limit. 4" x 30" yazoo is too big depending on who's measuring and interpreting the postal code, 3" x 30" yazoo is within the limits regardless of how they're read.

I've sent plenty international first class in a 4" yazoo.

I just went through the label process on eBay again and first class int. only becomes an option when the length doesn't exceed 24" up to 36" total. I went to USPS and their first class option was $5 more than GSP but up to 30" as mentioned before and 36" in total. Again, I used to break these limits most every time and it would still allow you to process. Now you can only proceed if the dimensions fit. At least I could enter larger than allowed dimensions for the GSP and purchase. Now we'll see if I get neg'd.

edit: i feel like a nub all over again.

Huh? The length of the tube is 30 not 36 though. That's the MAXIMUM length of the tube. Yalls reading comprehension is turrible. I do agree that it could be worded better though.
EBAY limits the size based on negotiated discounts they have with USPS. For MOST countries, First Class International can be used for 4"x30" tubes. If Ebay doesn't let ya do it, Paypal usually will:

P.S. Can't wait to re-tread this again in a few months. Luls.

There's also this option to get your label: lie. Then you drop it on the counter and run away!

I guess weights and have it scanned at the counter just to see how much I am off. I've never had anyone at USPS say anything. I've been nearly a pound light with no consequence.

Be careful with dat when its overweight. I've been billed for allegedly being over, and they can put a hold on your usps.com account. They have scanners in some sorting centers that check package weights.

Used to catch some charges when using ebay shipping. Switched to shipstation w/stamps.com and it's been a dream.

Have an auction up getting decent traction and already at $90.

Buyer via message: "I've been looking for one of these, will you take $60 for it?"

Especially if the buyer has zero feedback. Zero feedback means zero problems.
