Holy moly, $40k for Hope. https://www.sothebys.com/en/buy/auction ... airey/hope

Maybe it's time for me to get some of my collection onto the next auction there.

Also: $5k for Chuck D: https://www.sothebys.com/en/buy/auction ... -the-power.
yet only $7k for a large format HPM: https://www.sothebys.com/en/buy/auction ... m-on-paper

Maybe I don't understand people as much as I thought I did.

i think a lot of people just assume it's better to buy from auction houses and galleries... and you don't have to deal with randos on ebay that may or may not know how to handle prints...

and those are just the hammer prices add on another 25% + shipping... whoop.

You can actually register for an online course in the spring. But I can't just give it away for free anymore now that I'm pubished (sick). OBEY the process is all I say every class tho, cause books is the only way.

Yup. In the past I have had multiple people on eBay ask me if my less desirable Obey prints listed for $89 (ie Hello My Name Is) are legit and whether I have a certificate of authenticity from a gallery for them.

I will not take this bait. But thans! The lecture videos, genuine [adult swim] productions, give all their $$ worth (no giant sum to begin).

so, who else here held onto theirs and didn't flip it for the short term gain?
I'm assuming it's not a long list

short term from 2008 ? ? ? sold mines like 4 years ago for $3.8k , no ragrets on a $50 purchase not to mention the millions of bootlegs out there - if u think any common collector would ever get 40k for that u are living on a different planet.
