Now that you mention it I'm kind of surprised as well. He was on Bush like white or rice and has yet to revisit a Trump image.

Not everyone can bring the imagery like Cleon does here with Putin and Trump as his puppet

^ It’s a letterpress. Take a look at (I want to say all, but will say) most of them. It’s expected. Also, what jj said on the previous page price wise.

What's the real world commentary Shepard? Must be going soft as he gets old.

This Wake Up Earth letterpress is an urge for us all to be alert, conscious, and analytical. Disinformation, division, and apathy have led to the weakening of pillars of our democracy, an ineffective response to Covid-19, and a lack of meaningful action on environmental destruction and climate change. We accomplish amazing things when we unite and focus on constructive goals, planting seeds, and nurturing them together until they bloom. There are many crucial things going on that demand us to wake up, mobilize, and live with our eyes and minds open! This print applies to many things, but I’ve chosen to donate proceeds to the NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council) to support their work toward legislation that protects the environment for all of our futures. Thanks for caring!

By the way, this letterpress was printed by Aardvark Letterpress with whom I just completed a special letterpress print to commemorate their 50th anniversary as a family-owned LA business… more info about that coming soon!

-Shepard
Don't know if it's going soft as much as it is a passive aggressive way of saying maybe we shouldn't burn everything down. Shep's current financial success (today anyway) relies heavily on malls, skate shops, places like Nordstrom, Hot Topic (dunno if Obey is sold there but whatever), etc, all these places staying open in a functioning society. If this new attitude of tear it all down, burn it down, start over actually takes place Shep along with everyone else stands to lose everything.

Shep is getting real time sales numbers from his business partners at One 3 Two down in Irvine. The guys on the soft goods side of things are actually seeing the side effect of the global economy being shut down in addition to their core stores that they sell to being looted and burned to the ground. A lot of these shops are mom and pop small businesses that aren't sitting on vaults full of cash like everyone imagines all business do, no, these affected stores/shops won't be bouncing back. The Covid lockdown plus all the looting and rioting has forced tremendous amounts of stores to stop ordering from One 3 Two (aka Obey Clothing) and or going out of business all together. It's crumbling before their eyes. It didn't even take a week into the shutdown originally to start having an effect but here we are almost five months in and Shep's multi-million dollar paycheck from One 3 Two just got cut by 75%.

Irony. Get famous by growing your poster making business. The business that you use to spread information about fighting against the very thing you ironically rely on that enables you to put a roof over your head and food in your belly. It's a slippery slope Shepard just discovered.

Lulz... yes, but with one caveat, I failed to wake up for the drop so I blame sleep. That and the fact that the "meh it's an LP" factor. The price per square inch ratio vs. long term buy and hold return on investment isn't there.

So we are applying home buying metrics to print buying now?
