I didn't realize that any of the albums actually made it to print w/ that on the cover. I just always assumed it was moved to the liner notes before the skull/cross cover.
This is an image that I remember vividly from my childhood. I was about 9 when Appetite came out, changed the way I thought about music, thats for sure...

You can still get the vinyl on ebay.
I think mine came from Germany.
It was new and came with loads of stickers!!

... and here is Mr. Williams kindly adding a dedication to mine. Appetite for Destruction was the first record I ever bought and I guess it was this very image that started my interest in lowbrow and later poster and print art.

it's not 1989 though.
i bought the vinyl of gnr lies back in like 1990. came with a sticker sheet. and the boobies on the inner are uncensored.
if i buy one of these, which should i go for? straight from the man? is there just one run of this thats signed and numbered?

As far as I know there is only one signed and numbered edition of 350. Robert Williams got the AP's to sell.
Top notch printing and beautiful paper. I believe I have one or two left. I am definitely keeping one for myself to frame up someday.
