Yeah, I just got an email about the screening. Postponed until whenever they can hold it, and given how things are looking around here I'd say around May at the earliest. Prints will still be sold during the screening, leftovers released online afterward.

So is it true Tyler ain’t into the whole movie poster thing no more? That he’s moved on to other things? Or is that just people talking bs? If so, curious what he’s moved on to. Would like to see where his career leads.

The last I heard, Tyler was going for some rank of officer in the Air Force.

i mean look at his poster output for the past....[checks eb]....5 years. One movie poster a year maybe. Random gig poster, deluge of stickers and handbills. This changed happened a long time ago.

and yeah mad max fury road coming...but do we know if it will be a poster with credits or just an art print? because more than likely its not an official release.

Titles or no, it's hard to be "not that into movie prints anymore" when you're doing a print at least inspired by a movie, innit?

He mentioned it's getting harder and harder to do his style of movie posters. Sounds more like the decision is being made for him.

i think the frequency and the fact that only one or two of them are 100% official pieces kind of is the answer.

Isle of Dogs and Fantastic Mr. Fox are 'through Spoke' which at the end of the day has Wes Andersons blessing, rather than being officially licensed.

And of course he does handbills and stickers, but again because they are 'mystery packs' and are not licensed or anything. not that it really matters at the end of the day.

But if he was into making movie posters he would do more than 1 a year in my opinion. but im just a dude on a message board

Fantastic Mr. Fox and Isle of Dogs also have the advantage of not having to obtain rights to actors' likenesses.

Do we know the story with the recent Alien poster? Concept that never got approved?
