I'm curious how many prints can be printed off a copper plate before you start to lose some detail?

Out of curiosity, why does the price history show one selling for $550 but when you click on the Ebay link it sold for $660 plus shipping?
It was a best offer listing that you can see when you look up all of the sold listings thru ebay.
