Okay, how much is one of these worth? Is BNG's $900 a good deal?

Currently a bid for one on Heritage for $750 with an estimate of $1500-$2000. They usually have an estimate of $800-$1200 at auction depending on the lot but none of them ever had provenance of any kind before and these are framed.

pretty cool about the Bottleneck release happening on Friday

apparently in Exit Through the Gift Shop Banksy mentions printing 1 million worth of the tenners (100,000 notes). sounds like he still has a lot of them.
Exit Through the Gift Shop wrote:I made 1 million worth, and I was gonna throw it off a building, just like... But I took some out, and I handed some out. first of all, and people spent them, and people were like, "Oh, yeah. Two beers. A couple beers. " Nobody noticed, because when you got them like this, you can actually spend them. And they won't know. And when that happened, it as like, "Holy s hit. We just... we just forged a million quid. " And obviously, for that, you go to jail for ten years. So I have them up here, but I don't know what to do with them

Seems expensive considering the sale history

^That's why it's hard for me to pull the trigger. I get that it's framed, but if it were more in line with the chart I'd cave.

A tenner ended at an auction house last week for 1500 usd. This is one of those instances where the Eb price chart is completely useless. Buy a cheap knock off and call it a day or snap a real one up with some provence 8)

fwiw it's pretty easy to counterfeit these counterfeits... so the authenticity of the historical sales is unknown. the bottleneck release is the only way to know for sure you're getting the real thing. I'm on the fence myself..

Fair point. It's paying for peace of mind and I appreciate it. Just don't think I'm in a place to pay that much for peace at the moment, though I'd love to own a Bansky...

Yep I hear that. The GDP store is supposed to open soon w some “unlimited items available , starting at 10£ “ so there should be some other opportunities soon.

I’m a buyer at that price.
I wouldn't deal with JakeStanley / eBay user fratdaddyjake
