It's quite toned down, Ennis really pushes it a bit much in the comics just for the hell of it.

I'm still behind but finally watched season 2 of legion this week and damn if this isn't one of the best shows on TV. Really hoping season 3 can keep the quality up.
I'll get around to the boys eventually but much like preacher I'm expecting a watered down experience after reading the comic.

I feel like Legion just got better and better. Obviously there will be a couple of less that great episodes, but overall I loved this season. Series finale tonight, gonna miss this show when it is over.greenhorn1 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 9:14 pmI'm still behind but finally watched season 2 of legion this week and damn if this isn't one of the best shows on TV. Attempting to mitigate the depression brought on from recently watching Chernobyl by starting The Terror. A couple episodes deep into it and I am really sucked into it already. It feels so cinematic for a network show and I can't wait to see where it goes.

Really glad to hear this because season one is still among some of my favorite TV shows ever. That pilot alone was perfect and I loved the trippy vibe of the whole thing and I am excited to hear that it kind of leans a bit heavier into that side of things.ToolFanFromWayBack wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 11:04 amI feel like Legion just got better and better. Just finished the Legion series finale... it was outstanding. Can’t say enough about this show.

I haven't read the comics, but I'm pretty impressed with what they can get away with in Preacher considering it's on basic cable. Speaking of Preacher, I just started the new season, and it's been very entertaining so far.greenhorn1 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 9:14 pmI'll get around to the boys eventually but much like preacher I'm expecting a watered down experience after reading the comic.
