Inspiration-wise, career path. That's all, that book in the 80's shifted the entire comic industry, in addition, it woke up Hollywood. TDK single handily started the rebirth of the comic book-based movie. Although Marvel does it better, their movies wouldn't be nearly as good if this book was never created. Sure, eventually they might have figured it out, but it would just be different.Codeblue wrote:Luls. Story time!

looks like all his other work to me . . . I'm not always a fan of the colors and how he gradients stuff, but this looks no different than any number of Marvel prints he's done in the past.

Honestly I don't know how you can say that. Put this side by side with Ragnarock and it is night and day. The biggest difference is the likeness, and yes, this is not a movie so it is not going to be Helmsworth in the center, but that is one reason why it is way different and it is pretty clear he had trouble with it- But it is so much more than that, this is flat and just.... meh.... Somehow it manages to be both extremely dull and extremely messy at the same time.hunterjax wrote:looks like all his other work to me . . . A uncharacteristic miss for a great artist.
