Great stuff. Big thanks to 1nkling for gathering input and for leading up the tech team that's been knocking out issues left and right. Additional ideas to kick around...

-ability for users to report inaccuracies in listings from the art page. like a 'report an issue' button that submits a ticket/issue rather than having to go find an Entry correction thread to report them

-ability to sort collection/wanted/trades by Series, First Added, and Last Added

-give all members access to see the pending new art queue. would majorly cut down on duplicate submissions which is a win-win for members and volunteers

-simplify the Add Art experience. Remove pretty much all detailed instructions and make those a "+" or "?" that members can click on for help. Also have artists/bands/manufacturer auto-fill as you start typing. Visual mockup-

current Add Art page as a comparison

-add filter dropdowns for year/class/ect. Filters are already there on the left page but go unnoticed. Dropdowns would be more visible and easier to use. Something like this-

Its in the quick links at the top left. Unfortunately thats something that has been changed by phpBB in their newer versions. You get used to it though. :)

Well, that's not going to happen so you can either work with us to try and get an EB that works for everyone or you can leave. This is very much a work in progress. The important thing was to get the software upgraded so it was secure. The new version has added a lot of changes both stylistically and functionally. We're going to try to tweak things over time to get us all (or a majority of us ) to a happy place.

I think it's a change in the right direction.

I do agree that the quick links are rather.... not user friendly... there's about half a screen of dead space up there that could have those links on them.

Good work on this much though. Just upgrading PHPBB3 in itself can be a pain in the ass.
Go ahead, make my millennium.
