It's a lot, but the frame goes nicely with the hair. I'd use a (dark?) mat.

yeah, needs a mat or two.
pay via paypal, use credit card,file dispute at the 20 day mark if suspicious. don't deal with noobs. don't trade with noobs. request feedback ahead of time. there are lots of good people 'round here.

I think the frame fits the print perfectly. I like it as is.

Agree. Beautiful moulding, but its busy pattern and relative size ratio to the print makes for a crowded result.
Appropriate matting should give back space and focus to the art inside.

Oh, man - 13 years later one of these is finally on its way to my door. This has been my year for grail-hunting!

Any other framing ideas out there for this one?

Below the average. And that's a shame, too, as I can defend a Malleus purchase to my wife more than any other artist except maybe Daniel Danger. And their work still slaps. Don't know why Sperry owns the market on posters with redheads on them.
