Yeah but you liked Mickey Rooney’s part.

And as I recall it was wildly racist.

Still not paying $1-2K for it.

Probably close to 2k since the run is so low.
250 is a normal sized run.

most of his prints from his last show have not flipped over $400 and are arguably way more popular than Breakfast at Tiffany's.

everyone got hosed in this release. its a fine poster. that got gobbled up by an over inflated gallery owner who is way more concerned with making a buck than he or the heir to the estate are concerned with any sort of charity.
Thanks for the tips..I’m totally new here.
If I erase the 425 off my other LD prints and pencil in 250 they will all be normal sized runs.

Turning the smart ass off now..
Most of his recent prints were avg at best. The talent is there no question... if he keeps pumping them out, there will be occasional home runs like this one and the Jaws I.
The lines on this print are incredible. You can’t see them from the jpeg.
If more people were able to see it in person you would see the value rise.
No regrets whatsoever... it’s a wonderful print.

Pro tip: erase numbers and sigs from all prints and replace with "olderstout a/p varntz", wait 15 years then hock to a shill on Antiques Roadshow: Austin.
just a foil for me today, thanks

Never seen the movie, just watched the rooney bits, and that song is free bird compared to that fudge.
