Besides the two NIN shows coming up later this month (and with no Day for Night fest this year) I'm pretty much done with 2018 shows, which bums me out but the calendar around here is pretty sparse through year end.

But 2019 is already starting to schedule, and I've already got three that make me pretty excited!

01/25 - Thursday (playing Full Collapse)
02/02 - King Princess
03/15 Massive Attack (Mezzanine tour) - NYC!

I certainly checked out tickets for the Houston show - between decent seats being stupid expensive AND it be a four drive and a Sunday night show - pretty sure I’m passing this go round.

^I was a bit shocked at the ticket prices too. REALLY want to go, but probably won't.

I was really hoping for a better venue around here; it’s a medium sized club which is just a long room. Oh well, will actually prioritize getting to this one early so as to get a good spot.

And yeah, the new album is really good. Very curious as to the composition of the band that will tour with him since the new album was basically just him this go round.

Wow, I wish AJJ was playing on the stop here. In general I wish AJJ would just come through again, it's been over a year and they used to be pretty reliable on their at-least-annual stopthroughs.

The whole bill for that show is soooooo great. I rarely want to come when doors are open and see all of the openers.
I really like AJJ, only ever seen them open for Joyce Manor when I think about it! Their show at the Regent in LA right when Cody came out was one of the best Ive heard from them.

Yeah, and Jeff playing with them is a real treat as well, he's a great live show; I've only seen AJJ about 4 times now, but I'm always up for seeing them again. Was hoping they'd swing through sometime this year, but they've been pretty quiet on the tour side of things this year.
