Oh dang, they are doing lottery instead of first come? That's a bummer for the locals.IndyDMBFan wrote:I'll be heading up for this, just a short drive from the north side of Indy.
I'm wondering how this "lottery" will be handled.....

mfaith is correct. I wasn't referring to the proportions of the lady - she looks great. I'm just used to seeing the 311 poster, so it feels incomplete to me. I'm sure to viewers who aren't aware of the initial poster, it'll look fantastic. I might've preferred if Chuck had added a bit more background elements on the top and/or more lady on the bottom. btw, i'm with you on the anatomy prosecutors (wonky eye, jay leno chin, etc)ricv64 wrote:thats why the last sentence said format ..... chucks my bud and it bugs me sometimes when anatomy prosecutors shrill away while ignoring some really wonk figure work .mfaith wrote:I could be wrong, but I read their comment as in reference to the proportions of the print's dimensions, not anything to do with the figure/subject...
he said text but i took that as a typo

Yep, they've announced that sales will be through a lottery, but no details yet. They probably don't want folks lining up all day with mules.63schoeffling wrote:Oh dang, they are doing lottery instead of first come? I'm going to go either way I'm just looking forward to more details.

I'll be driving up from Atlanta with a buddy, also a collector. The lotto is the only way to keep people from going at it like the Spoke show in April. I was there also, sitting in the rain for 2 days... and 3 days less than some. Its better for the Museum also, you have to think that would be a not so pleasant attraction for a smaller town. With that said, there should be over 100 panels for sale if its going like it did at Spoke. 110 were up for sale, one per person on panels, two new papers and one old were the rules of purchase there. I was #47 and was able to get a Circe panel and my cousin grabbed a Reason. Although it will be nuts I think all the collectors will get a good shot at a panel that would make them happy either way. I'm looking to add Mnemosyne to my collection but I'd be happy with most of the new crew.
