Is this where we are at this point in the hobby...waiting for the next reprint of a classic one sheet?
BNG Tenebaum Jaws at least made sense to get the art available.
PS If you miss out just wait for the mondo x Alamo litho in a few years!
PMS whoever pays close to one sheet premium prices after drop meltz deserves every bit of it.

Agree with this. Eliminating full one sheet design and isolating the art is a solid and new way to collect these things.jkw3000 wrote:Got the art print though at least. Something that's a little tougher to get.
It figures - first time in over a year I've decided to go for something (like everyone else apparently) and in the Age of Timed Editions, this isn't one.sincere86a wrote:Legit surprised this wasn't a timed edition. Guessing that's the reason for the hype. Either way there are going to be some epic meltdowns today. Can't wait
For me, it's because it's Jaws, one of my top three favorite films. I've been sort of ISO the one sheet for years, but just never bit the bullet and felt like paying out. The work that went into this by Edmiston (one of my favorite artists), the history behind it, the fact that it's signed by Kastel, and the fact that it's a screenprint making it somewhat unique - it all adds up to something pretty desirable to me.wonkabars7 wrote:Agree with this. I agree with you that the hobby shouldn't be going in the direction of recreated one sheet classics . . . I don't think that sustainable or really anything most people want. But for me, this is the exception.
All that said, I'm probably going to fail miserably on this drop like Hooper's shark cage.
