When you think about the logistics of producing and printing at this size, it must be a nightmare. When you see the size of the tube and how they were shipped (two massive sheets of kraft, a tube within a tube) and the amount of space they take up I am sure they had to shake things up in their studio.
I think that's why they did them all at once. I'm sure it was much simpler to keep the literal and figurative machines going once they started.
