Looks like the Pejac sold on Ebay was in GBP, not USD. I think the sale price should be updated to $6,203 on EB... if my math is correct. Which is a crapshoot:

Nope. They accepted a "Best Offer" of £4,000: http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... rmvSB=true

Yeah, for some reason they don't really make that apparent from the final auction page. It's pretty misleading on ebay's part if you ask me. But there are sites like watchcount that track that sort of stuff, which you could always check if it's something you're serious about researching. http://www.watchcount.com/
