I started to wonder this after a few of the latest releases, especially Invader. Still amazes me someone paid $11K for that print. But started to wonder if art, just as I feel with the current economic situation, are we in another bubble. Started to read up and just as with economic news some feel yes some feel no. Thoughts?

Who cares? Ha, just like with the housing market I need fools like you. I care, because if there is an artists or a piece I like I can wait it out just as with the housing market and buy it for less than the fool who did not care because they are now strapped for cash.

Does alittle represent your brain or the size of something else of yours?

Oh cool I was wondering when a new poster bubble thread would pop up. There hadn't been one in like 3 weeks. Thank you for opening our eyes.

That escalated quickly. It's a valid question that warrants a good discussion.

It really doesn't merit much of a discussion on this board IMO. Any bubble is in the type of art that most on this board will never be able to afford, not sh!tty Mondo posters, gig posters or the Obey stuff that I have in my flat file.

If you feel the need though, here is an article

Or how about the article from which the above graphic was taken. The article is from January 2016 and is titled Academics Say the Art Market Bubble Is About to Burst—Are They Right?

Look, trolls can avoid the discussion, very easy, just like how the girls ignore you just turn the other cheek if you don't want to talk about it. Part of the problem is this forum is just on Mondo and if you try to discuss anything else that their little brains can't handle they get upset.

On Mondo, or other poster art, I have seen some of you not get posters that come out and see them later up for resale and sit there because people think they are worth more than they are. Those posters are also susceptible to a bubble. I mentioned one artist Invader as the extreme but there are many more.

People are trolling because this topic has been discussed ad nauseum over the years in this hobby, and most of the threads you've started that people have trolled have been trolled for the same reason. These are all discussions that have happened over and over already

Yaaaaay I can check off "art bubble talk" from my bingo card.

You can discuss whatever you want, just don't be surprised that a lot of people on here have seen this conversation before. Hell I'm only a '12er and this is like, the third iteration of this question I've seen here.

Oh, and obligatory:

I'd use the "time is a flat circle" gif too but man that's definitely dated at this point. Ironic, I guess.
