Holy fudge, I've never seen that before - that is nuts. So glad my son never really got into Chima; we got like two of them at one point, but he's much more interested in Ninjago and Star Wars.starkdesign wrote:Or that ridiculous Chima set lolchimpun wrote:That's gonna be some HUGE Elves set!!!

It was never available for purchase though, was a prize in the lego club a few years ago for building a chi fortress, 2 winners were chosen. would've been crazy expensive for sure!iwokeinrelief wrote:Holy fudge, I've never seen that before - that is nuts. Well that explains why I'd never seen it at least - I don't do a great job of keeping up with all things Lego, but I thought for sure I'd at least have been aware of a set that huge.starkdesign wrote:It was never available for purchase though, was a prize in the lego club a few years ago for building a chi fortress, 2 winners were chosen. would've been crazy expensive for sure!iwokeinrelief wrote:Holy fudge, I've never seen that before - that is nuts. Picked up the new BOOST set today to give the oldest for his birthday next week. Curious to see how well it compares with other "interactive" stuff out there...

Anyone know if the Saturn V will available through Lego again, or are they gone for good?
Girl at the Lego store today said that they should be making them for a while. She said at least a year, but I'm not sure how clued in she is. She also said that they are getting regular shipments in, just not enough to clear off their call/wait list.iwokeinrelief wrote:Anyone know if the Saturn V will available through Lego again, or are they gone for good?

They were quoted in an article a couple of months ago that stated they would be producing that set well into 2018. I think they learned their lesson on the space-specific Ideas sets.

Saw this tweet about the new IT trailer and a scene with LEGO...and how nerdy us AFOLs can get about our favorite interlocking plastic bricks...
