So I went and checked out Phlegms progress on Chapel Street in Melbourne yesterday. Took a little bit getting up there as it was a private carpark. Anyway, he wasnt there when I arrived but thankfully he returned shortly after. Had a great conversation with him for about 40 minutes as he was waiting for the rain to clear.
Super nice, genuine bloke. Was fantastic getting a little insight in to how he works, and to just have a general chat with him about stuff. The weather over the weekend was very windy with patches of rain; classic melbourne weather and he was hating it. Thought this wall was going to be the death of him. He said he's been painting as if he was about to get caught by the cops, just to hurry up and get out of the weather. His flight home is on Friday, so he has 5 more days painting.
He eventually got back to it so I stayed and watched him work for a little bit. As soon as I got back down to the street, it absolutely pissed down for a good 45 mins. Felt so sorry for the bloke. It's hard work.
