I think it's a solid, above-average poster.
I wanted it on the drop and missed . . . I don't currently have a Drive poster, I missed on Woodson's, and I really like Kurtz's work. This poster was a perfect fit to fill that gap in my collection. But once it started selling above $200, it dropped off my list. I think it's a great $80-100 poster, it's a below average $200 poster for the exact reasons others have already stated.
Looking forward to what Kurtz does next though, for sure.

usually if they got one or not.

I think it's a "price" vs. "worth."WhiteRat wrote:So for all of you that say "this isn't a $300 poster", what makes a poster worth $300? Your opinion on art? Taste in movies?
The market determines that the PRICE for this poster is now $300-$400 bucks. But to me, it's not WORTH spending that amount to get it. One's objective and the other is subjective. Saying a poster isn't worth the money it's going for isn't a slight to the poster, it's just an opinion about that poster to the individual.
I think the market is over paying on this and pushing the price up ridiculously, but clearly there is a market for the poster at that price, so my opinion is not the common one; doesn't change the fact that I don't think it's worth that amount.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Y'all underestimating composition. Saying this poster is just gos standing by a car with a hammer and the city in the background is like saying guernica is just a huge pile of grotesqueries.
This print is EXQUISITE.

Such a gorgeous looking print, but it doesn't scream "movie poster" IMO but I still want to own this thang. I'm tired of the hammer being thrown into nearly every Drive related art. He should be holding a cell phone, like it's his last call to Irene.
